BABY ITS COLD OUTSIDE...

Yeah I know, rid-on-culous blog title given yesterday was the first official day of summer here in Australia and to make it stick even less were lucky here in Queensland because its summer all year round!

...but I just couldn't resist playing in the third special C.S.I Casefile which is a collaboration with Scrap365 Magazine.  Its now live and runs for the whole of December which gives you plenty of time to channel the inner girlie girl or to explore the soft pastel inspired palette.

I have never really played with a palette like this before so thought why not give it a go and when I started photographing my cutest little 1950's disney deer I had bought at my local op shop I knew I was up for the challenge and had the idea to do a snow laden page.

I dream of one day celebrating a white christmas and this page kinda made me want to wrap up in my winter woolies and well I also had a warm feeling hanging with the Scrap 365 girls again (my old DT stomping ground).

So here is my page...

Everything else by me.

Evidence:
{Ribbons} in the banners & scattered {pearls}.
I included a gold{feather} some {glitter} stars, a few little {birds},
some {needlework}{snowflakes} and finally {texture paste} and a{silver accented} frame.

Testimony:
I chose the topic {Winter} and journaled about the landscape
including the key words {sparkle, soft & handmade}

'Its cold outside. Winter trees stand bare. Looks for coats to wear. Hovers together seeking
a refuge from the icy winters air. The snow it sparkles as it blankets the ground. Snowflake it
falls & kisses my cheek. So softly it falls at my feet, natures handmade glistening veil.'

I also wanted to share a couple of projects created for Sissy Sparrows.
