GUEST POLLY AT THE LILYPAD!

Its been a hectic month but tonnes of fun so far. I am very excited to have got an invite to be a guest Polly over at the Lilypad this month, perfect timing given it was my birthday on the 5th so it was like being given a 'Key to the City' having access to so much inspiration at the pad.

The pad boasts some of the best designers out there and their kits are incredible I have to pinch myself and show some serious restraint from filling my cart lol, but I have played with a few awesome kits so far and I still have 2 more weeks to go so thought I better share some of these pages with you all other wise it would be an epic post and take hours to load ;).

HANGING AT THE LILYPAD!

Warning long post, lots of pages to share ;)

Most months I try to play along with the challenges over at The Lilypad. This month I managed to complete them all which was a tonne of fun! These first two are the digital and hybrid versions of the same page. The Hybrid is slightly different because I combined that page with another challenge set by a new facebook group called 'Can I do that?'

Catie Kennedy the founder decided that we should try creating a page using a clean white cardstock as the base. The catch....no embellishing of the cardstock at all! So this proved to be a challenge for many of us he he. Its way too hard not to add something. Anyways I had a brain storm and figured that using Grafix rub-Onz wouldnt constitute embellishing the cardstock instead simply adding a 4th photo to my project! Brilliant? hmmmm I don't know 'bout that but hey love how it turned out.

The new Scrapbook Creations Magazine Issue #105 is out now and its filled to the brim with lots of fabulous techniques. In this issue the Design Diva's are the guest editors and wow what a fantastic job the ladies did. SWEET BUMP!

It feels like a lifetime ago since Tige was born and then on the other hand only yesterday when I held that teeny tiny delicious bundle in my arms for the very first time. It's funny how time becomes so distorted when you reminisce about those mind blowing moments in life! I do confess to being really clucky right now though.... oh my gosh if only I could have another baby, but the fear is too great. I am so scared that my age may be the ruin of it all time to get fit hence why I joined the gym last week, so hey never say never is my motto at the mo!

Anyways back to scrappy stuff...I follow this great FB page that is basically a classifieds section for the digital scrapbook community and when I saw a call out for scrappers to create some pages using the latest fabulous kit 'Sweet Bump' by Scrapyrus Designs I knew I had to put my hand up.

Working with that kit was a tonne of fun, and in many ways was the perfect one to scrap all those photo's I had stashed away along with some I have already scrapped many times before. I also thought maybe scrapping some pages would satiate that rising urge to make a baby but nope, nadda, not happenin' I'm still chirpin' loudly and to top it all off Tigey said this morning he wanted a baby brother...FAR OUT me thinks that something far greater than me is at work here!
