A COUPLE OF PAGES TO SHARE

I haven't done many LO's lately its been all systems go with sorting out this house for bubba's arrival. We have managed to squeeze my scrap room into 1/3 the original space I had (I'm sharing a room with a queen bed grumphhhh) But I am more excited about getting the nursery painted before Mr Dan goes back to the mine so I can then totter around decorating the space.


When Dan got back last week all he wanted to do was buy all the big baby items like the car seat, pram and change table so, thankfully we now have a room to house them in, lol.


Other than all this fun excitement I have done a couple of LO's which I thought I'd share with y'all!


Here's one I did at a 'Girls Night In'

where the host Tash of Wise Craft Creations raised a few dollars for Breast Cancer Research. I had so much fun meeting the ladies  and as always spent way too much money! eek


I also surprised myself with actually doing this months Scrapboutique stylist challenges. I am such a shocker, I never seem to find time to do them but this month I loved the girls challenges and given we didn't have the added stylist packs to work through I thought I have got to at least attempt them.


Here's my take on the November Sketch/Stash Stomper set by the lovely Manon. Its all about the cheeky little poppet Miss Teleah.

This next one is my take on Amanda's November Monthly Challenge
the theme being 'Wet, Wet, Wet'. I figured I had to do one of Mr Osky because its been a while since I have made a page of him. I also really wanted to use up those teeny scrap pieces of paper and bits and bob's I keep hoarding.I'm pretty happy to get the old Woodgrain Hambly Prints in there...tee hee

...and finally last month I hosted the Blind scrap at our CC. The Sunday Roast was all about 'Halloween'. I got the girls to doodle or stitch on the page and create a shaped mount and photo by hand cutting.

Here's what I did for the blind roast a bit of machine stitching for the spiderrrr web and a circular mount to echo the moon theme.

Lots of exciting news to share!

What a fabbo start to the week! I have two exciting newsy bits to share with you all so here goes...let the drum roll begin, ba ha ah

My Mind's Eye Workshop exclusive to ScrapBoutique!

I know its a little bit crazy, but I am going to be adding a few separate posts over this weekend, sooo much to catch up on and all of them need their own little spot to shine...this post is the one I am really excited about! I can think of a few peeps who would be too, like Miss Corinne my gorgie friend and amazing designer who is a huge fan of MME Papers (she has mentioned this a few times over coffee and cake!). Tee hee

Sooooo....without further ado...we have the amazing ZOE PEARN guest designer at Scrapboutique for the month of October and she'll be doing some gorgeous workshops in November using her latest patterned paper ranges for 'My Mind's Eye'...come and join in and have some fun creating! The kits are exceptionally good value for money, so if you get a chance pop on into the shop and have a looksie and say gidday to Zoe!

New Job, and fun all round!

Yes...Dan got the job....YIPPEEE! He's off to Dalby, Qld in 3 weeks to start his new adventure as chef for a catering company on the oil rigs! Lots of red dust and hungry mouths to feed, but he'll love it! I'm excited for him, he's been wanting a different challenge to sink his teeth in, so this will definately brighten his spark. He will be away 3 weeks then two weeks off, oh thats the life, I think I'll be seeing more of him this way which will be a bonus, and there is nothing like distance makes the heart grow fonder...tee hee.

My week at Scrapboutique has been awesome, I've been busy organising my challenges as Stylist and scrapping madly to complete my DT Sample LO's, 2 done, 2 to go, phewwwww! I also completed my Technique Review for the Newsletter which will be emailed the middle of this month....oh sooo good to be organised. I'll be hosting on the forum a new swap but wont reveal this until the NL has been posted, but it will be my baby and I am sooo excited about it, I just hope the forum members will be too, lol!

...and my LO and interpretation of the sketch template, is a photo taken of my nephews 5 years ago...finally I used it! Lol

Chelsea, myself and the other stylists have also been nutting out the Christmas 09 Workshops, and there are some awesome ideas for projects this year, cards, gift boxes, and home decor to name a few, but I wont be revealing any more than that...sneeky. It will be a  fun one, so I hope to see some of you lovely peeps at the boutique forum ;)
