100% BOY

I have been hanging out to share this page with you for the past 6 weeks, and finally I can he he...Its probably one of about 5 traditional pages I have created so far this year...I know crazy hey! I have been asked to guest design with 2 Crafty for the whole of 2013 which has been awesome. I do miss getting my fingers all inky and let me tell ya I have getting some serious mess on, before I share that page...

...some of you may already know that my process of creating a traditional page almost always starts with a digital version. This is where I can nut out the composition, colour and content before committing to paper and glue. Its how I work and to be honest I love that process. I feel like I am creating a well thought out and planned page which also enables me to get a hybrid one done in half the time. Taming my toddler is hard work and I really don't have a lot of patience fighting off little reaching hands for the stanley knife every 5 secs hence why the digi version is my starting block. I can then whip up a trad page almost as quick as you can say
'Watch out Tige is grabbing for the scissors again!' lol

Below is the digital version.

...here is the traditional version using 2 Crafty Chipboards to embellish the page.
I love how it turned out and if you would like to see some of the techniques I used to create this page especially the negative photo strip you can head HERE to read all about it ;)
