SCRAPPING UP A STORM

Its exciting times over at The Lilypad. We have some new designers joining the team some of which are my all time faves. Do you remember Captivated Visions? Well Rachel is back to designing with a name change, her name to be exact. So now you can enjoy all her old and newly created amazing products under the Rachel Jefferies Mixed Media Art & Designs brand, so so exciting and I am like a kid in a candy store playing with her new kits and revisiting some oldies but goodies.

POLLY POST | YEP YOU READ THAT RIGHT! HEHE

Last month was a massive month playing along in the MOC 6 challenges over at The Lilypad. Not only did I learn tonnes of exciting tips and tricks in digital scrapbooking, by participating I also had an opportunity to share my scrappy style with some of the digi scrap world heavy weights!

One of the reasons the MOC is held is to find a new Pollywog for The Lilypad and lil ole me was offered a Polly position! OMG blow me over, I was picked! This year was a record year of participants with over 300 finishers of the 31 challenges so it was hard to pick just one, instead four of us were selected which is just incredible! Congrats to my fellow newbie Polly's Christa, Annemieke and Tracie, its going to be fun getting to know you gals!

It’s always been my dream to hang at TLP in a more permanent way and yay its finally happened! I am so excited to get into the swing of things and really look forward to sharing over the coming months some technique tutorials, hosting some fun challenges to get you scrapping out of your comfort zone and to share some lovin’ in the gallery. I hope you’ll join me over at The Lilypad. If you are looking for a new digi home stop by and join in its surely going to be a fun ride!

I’M THANKFUL FOR...

With Halloween and Thanksgiving just around the corner I thought it would be fun to share some Autumn pages with you. Thanksgiving isnt something we traditionally celebrate here in Australia, so in lieu of photos of those deliciously tempting tables brimming with Turkey roasts and all the trimmings I thought it would be nice to share a page of Tige playing in mountains of leaves and of course a couple more pages all about what I’m thankful for.

These pages were created using the latest release called AUTUMN IS CALLING | Collection by Simple Pleasure Designs by Jennifer Fehr. This bundle is so cute and perfect for all those Autumn photos you might have in your stash. Living in sunny Queensland we don’t really get seasonal changes except for mild winter days morphing into blazing steamy hot summer ones. So I managed to dig up some great photos from a trip down to Canberra a couple of years ago during Autumn and of course there is always a shot or two of lil mister rugged up in a scarf or snuggled up on the couch that perfectly fits the theme too.
