BYOC | BUILD YOUR OWN COLLAB JULY 2018

Oh my this months palette for the BYOC collection over at The Lilypad is so Summery, with a nautical and tropical flavour. I have been scrapping up some Summer pages which has been a welcome relief from this slightly windy and chilly weather we’ve been experiencing this Winter. For many Aussies the weather up here in Queensland is moderate but for us softies we’ve had some cold over night lows that have been the coldest on record in over 15 years, and that has been a shock to our system. So as you can imagine beach inspired photos of sand angels, fish’n’chip dates down by the beach and splash parties have been a nice warm welcome from the chill factor.

SCRAPLIFT CHALLENGE AT THE LILYPAD

This month I’m hosting the scraplift challenge over at The Lilypad and I thought it would be fun to lift our guest CT Sharon (aka sbpoet) and use her GALLERY as our inspiration. I love her fabulous artsy journal style with tonnes of paint layers and blending to really get your creative juices flowing. 

Here is my Page and below is Sharon’s called Authentic. I was inspired by pretty much everything. Her page design, the theme and the sweeping layers of colour, paint and flowers all peaked my imagination.

Remember our monthly challenge rules:
Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the May Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and of course to this thread too.

The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month:

2 challenges = 10% off
4 challenges = 20% off
6 challenges = 30% off

If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).

It’s BYOC time over at The Lilypad and this months palette is gorgeous. Lots of soft spring tonee for those of you heading out of Winter and for those of us heading into Winter here is a gentle nudge. 

I love teh BYOC products there are so many to mix and match which makes for a solid scrap session in anyones book. Here are just a few pages I have created using the April 2018 collections.
